THE MOUNTAINS IN SUMMER
In summer, once the white covering retreats the mountains reveal their hidden beauty. Then follows a wonderful time of regeneration with an array of colours, from green pastures to bright pink rhododendrons, not forgetting the striking yellow globe-flowers or the deep blue gentians.
Méribel offers many activities, footpaths for walkers, themed walks, mountaineering, tree-top adventure courses, canyoning, Nordic walking, etc…Méribel has it all!
High Mountains
High mountains is aimed at adults and children over 6 and offers a range of sports including mountaineering, climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, and more…

Méribel offers a large range of marked footpaths of different lengths and levels of difficulty.

Via Ferrata
La Via Ferrata is secure climbing route equipped with cables and metal rungs fixed on a rock face.

VIA FERRATA at Dent de Burgin
The highest in France. Allow 4 hours on a guided trip to make you way to the summit using cables and metal rungs fixed in the rocks. An introductory session will help to you overcome the most challenging parts. Take your mountain gear along. Professionally guided trips are recommended.

Tueda Nature Reserve
Tueda Nature Reserve, created in 1990, is full of surprises with rare flora and fauna to be found along the extensive paths of the outstanding and preserved area.
La Vanoise National Park
The Vanoise National Park was the first national park in France and covers 53,000 hectares. The park was created in 1963 to protect wildlife.
MERIBEL FOR CHILDREN
For little ones: Méribel is well provided for in terms of day nurseries and kids clubs of all types for children aged 3 months to 12 years (6 in total), at “djeuns” there are a whole host of fun activities on offer and also at “Castors Juniors”.

From 6 – 8 years: Adventure park, climbing, mini-golf, picnics, swimming, water flumes, mountain fishing, trampoline, ball games and walks.
CASTORS JUNIORS
From 6 to 12 years, the children can explore the forests and rivers and learn about plants and “Neige” the goat comes along too. Every day is a new adventure and these budding pioneers will learn to survive using the natural resources in their environment: Fishing, orienteering, making herbal remedies, caring for rabbits…and the icing on the cake is a night in a tepee for those who are brave enough.
SPORT KIDS “ALAIN FALCOZ”
From 8 – 17 years.
3 multi-activity sports courses, from Monday to Friday:
Kids (8/10 years): Adventure park, archery, mountain biking, accrobungee, mini-golf, “Kids Olympics”, tennis coaching, etc…
Juniors (11/13 years): Scuba-diving in a swimming pool, canoeing, mountain biking, paintballing, junior games, etc.

RELAXATION AREA AT THE OLYMPIC PARK
MERIBEL now has a relaxation area at the Olympic park in Chaudanne.
Dedicated to well-being, beauty and relaxation, this facility offers cardio training sessions, fitness and weight training with the use of rowing machines, steppers, treadmills, exercise bikes, vibration training. Professional fitness trainers are on hand to help.
